Hospital

The Neshoba County General Hospital is an eighty-two bed facility with an adjacent one hundred sixty bed nursing home.
Neshoba General has emergency physicians on site twenty-four hours a day. Some of the amenities that are provided consist of Outpatient Surgery, C-T, MRI, Ultrasound and a mammography Center. There are several different therapy opportunities as well, such as, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. To accompany all of these features is a professional Laboratory service and a Paramedic Level Ambulance Service.

Driver's License
It is mandatory that all new Mississippi residents that are of the age of sixteen acquire a standard driver's license within sixty days of establishing residency. All applicants that are under seventeen years of age must have an application signed and verified by both parents and/or guardian. The Mississippi Highway Patrol department requires that a written examination along with an eye examination be taken. At the time of the examination the applicant's social security card will be requested. A Mississippi Driver's license is issued for a four year term at a reasonable fee. In addition CDL are also available.


Motor Vehicle Inspection
Inspections on all motor vehicles operating on any public road in Mississippi are required annually.


Garbage and trash Collection
Garbage is picked up twice a week in the city and once a week in the county. There is no deposit required for the city or county garbage collection. City residents must pay a pickup charge that will be added to their electric bill every month. County residents will be billed every quarter.
